Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details you provide at sign up: email address and display name.
• Expenses you log: amount, currency, category, wallet, note and date.
• Receipt photos you choose to upload, stored in a private bucket only you can read.
• Messages you send to the AI coach and the reports generated from them.

How we use it

Your data is used to show your own spending patterns, generate your weekly reflection and answer your coach questions. We do not sell your data and we do not show you third party advertising.

AI processing

When you scan a receipt or ask the coach a question, the relevant excerpt of your spending data is sent to an AI model provider to produce the answer. It is used to generate your response only. Do not put information in notes or messages that you would not want processed this way.

Storage and access

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row level security, so each record is readable only by the account that created it. Receipt images live in a private storage bucket. Access is over encrypted connections.

Your controls

• Export a full copy of your data as JSON from Profile, under Your data.
• Delete any individual expense at any time.
• Delete your account permanently from Profile. This removes your expenses, wallets, coach history, receipts and login.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your records are removed immediately and backups age out on their normal cycle.
